If you have a flashdisk or external hard drive may currently have a "FAT32" file system and you want to change to "NTFS", because "FAT32" does not support the handling of large files (over 4GB), and you do not want to lose your data if the hard drive or flash if the format. Here 'T-Care' will help you to be able to convert FAT32 to NTFS without losing data.

How to Change 'FAT32' Being 'NTFS' Without Losing Data:

1. Open My Computer, note the name of the drive that its file system to convert.

2. Click Start.

3. Type cmd in the search box when using Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows Vista and if you use Windows XP, click Run and then type "cmd" (without quotes) then enter.

4. At the command prompt type "chkdsk h: / f" (without the quotes) where H is the letter of the drive to run the conversion, which serves to check the drive from damage (error) and fix them automatically.

5. Then type "Convert H: / FS: NTFS" (without the quotes). "H" is the letter of the drive to be converted.

6. Command Prompt will start the conversion process and after a few minutes, the CMD will say "conversion was Successful"

7. You can check the properties of the drive.

But, this method can not be used to change the file system is "NTFS" to "FAT32"

hope this is helpful
